Moses R. Kamya, M.B.Ch.B, M.Med, MPH, PhD. is a Professor of Medicine and current Dean of the School of Medicine at Makerere University College of Health Sciences in Uganda. He has major interests in Infectious Diseases and specifically in HIV and malaria research and programs. He has authored or co-authored over 200 papers in peer reviewed journals. He is a founding member of the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), the Makerere University Joint AIDS Program (MJAP), the Makerere University-University of California Research Collaboration (MU-UCSF), the Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC) and the Uganda Malaria Surveillance Project (UMSP).
