Monika Kvernenes is a Professor of Medical and Health Professions Education and Head of the Center for Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bergen. She conducts research in medical and health professions education, with a particular focus on the roles of supervisors, mentors, and teachers. She is interested in promoting research-based pedagogy in higher health professions education and supporting educators in their professional learning processes.
