Makerere University School of Public Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development invite you to a Public Lecture and High-Level Roundtable on Health Financing in Uganda.
Theme: Investing in Health for Uganda’s Future: Delivering Vision 2040 through Smart and Sustainable Health Financing

Venue: School of Public Health Auditorium, Makerere University Main Campus, near Eastern Gate
This is a high-stakes national dialogue on the future of health financing in Uganda and is expected to convene senior leaders from government, academia, the private sector, and development partners.
The event will include;
- A guided site visit to the MakSPH new building,
- Opening remarks by the Dean of the Makerere University School of Public Health,
- Opening remarks by the Vice Chancellor of Makerere University, and
- Brief remarks from the Deputy Head of Public Service (Service Delivery),
- The public lecture by Dr. Ramathan Ggoobi,
- Health sector reflections by Dr. Diana Atwiine,
- A high-level roundtable discussion, and
- Closing reflections by Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga, Chancellor of Makerere University.

The programme also provides for photography and departure at the close of the event.
Dr. Ramathan Ggoobi, the Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury, will deliver the keynote public lecture, "Investing in Health for Uganda's Future."
Associate Professor Elizabeth Ekirapa will moderate the high-level roundtable discussion.
